Step 1 - Getting your Swift Harbour™ booking code

Log into your admin dashboard at swiftharbour.yachtingsbest.com

You can copy or share your Swift Harbour™ booking code anytime you like by simply logging into your dashboard and clicking either “get your booking link” on the left side, or by clicking “booking button code” in the Marina Settings Menu

Step 2 - Embedding the Swift Harbour™ Booking Code

The Swift Harbour™ Booking Button can be placed on any web page you like! There are two ways to accomplish this:

1) Direct Link (recommended)

The Swift Harbour™ Booking Button direct link is not formatted but offers much more freedom and can link from any text link, button or element you like offering incredible versatility. The advantages of the direct link are its versatility and ability to 100% match the look and feel you want.

To use the Swift Harbour™ Booking Button Direct Link, follow these steps:

  1. Go to your unique marina dashboard at swiftharbour.yachtingsbest.com (if logged in click “admin”)
  2. Select “Marina Settings” from the left menu
  3. Select “Booking Button Code” at the bottom of the menu.
  4. Copy the link under “extras” and paste into your site (or have your developer do it).

2) Booking Button Widget

The Swift Harbour™ Booking Button Widget is a pre-formatted button that will go on any web page. The advantage of this is that it will offer a consistent look that boaters will be familiar with and more likely to click on. The disadvantage is that the widget is less flexible with your site’s unique looking an feel, and in some rare cases may not be compatible with your site.

To use the Swift Harbour™ Booking Button Widget, follow these steps:

  1. Go to your unique marina dashboard at swiftharbour.yachtingsbest.com (if logged in click “admin”)
  2. Select “Marina Settings” from the left menu
  3. Select “Booking Button Code” at the bottom of the menu.
  4. Copy the snippet and paste into your site (or have your developer do it).

STEP 3 - Add the booking button to your email signature

The Swift Harbour™ Booking Button can literally be used in any online location and a great high exposure place to put it is in your email signature.

To add the link do the following:

  1. Open your email client of choice and search for “email signature” or google search how to set up an email signature on your email client of choice
  2. Copy the following link and paste into your new email signature wherever you like: `We now take online bookings! <a href=”URL”>CLICK HERE TO REQUEST MOORAGE</a>’
  3. Log into your dashboard and copy the direct link (see “Using the Swift Harbour™ Booking Button Code” above)
  4. Replace the text URL with your direct link
    i.e. `We now take online bookings! <a href=”http://app.yachtingsbest.com/reservation/spot/2522/slip”>CLICK HERE TO REQUEST MOORAGE</a>’

Your email signature should look something like this once you’ve saved it and composed a new message.

STEP 4 - Take bookings directly from your facebook page

Another fantastic place to take Swift Harbour™ bookings is your Facebook page. If you don’t have a Facebook page for your business already, here is a good article on why it could be a good idea.

To add a “Book Now” button to your Facebook page, do the following:

  1. Go to Facebook.com and select your Facebook page from the top right menu
  2. Click the “add button” link button (click here to see image)
  3. Choose the book now button (click here to see image)
  4. Leave your Facebook page open and in a new tab or browser page, proceed to swiftharbour.yachtingsbest.com (your marina dashboard), sign-in if required and click the “get your booking link” button (Click here to see image)
  5. Copy your Booking Button LINK (right click and copy), Please don’t use your snippet it won’t work (Click here to see image)
  6. Go back to your Facebook page and paste the booking button link in the box under the title “website” and click “create” (Click here to see image):
  7. Click your new “Book Now” button and select “test button” to test it.
